I’m sure you could get some Opponaut to go and check it out for you.

I think those are pretty durable, but that seems like a lot of miles for 8 grand.

But it’s not a manual! Not a manual = basically just another Prius. Literally undriveable.

I’m about 2 hours away from LA...just wire the money to my bank account in Nigeria and we can work something out.

Needs a manual swap.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 06:28 |

I’d go check it out but I’m afraid I’m much, much further away.

Pft, tell that to the Roadmaster.

Way too recent for you.

Get another Opponaut to help you get it Cletus-vette style!

Those things go for crazy money regardless of miles.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 08:18 |

That’s a pretty normal price for these. They’re mad overpriced. Want to see something really scary? Look for a similar vintage Tacoma in decent shape.

Really? Gee that would be reallyHEY WAIT A MINUTE!

when you lot complain that you don’t get the Falcon or any proper utes over in the states, this is how I feel about the SportCross.
One of the few Japanese cars we can’t import :(
![]() 08/12/2016 at 09:20 |

You probably already know but to clarify, all sportcross’ were auto.

Do miles on Toyotas(& lexus) not matter? I’m not even going to get $5k for my Chrysler with 170k on it.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 10:57 |
|
Key word in your post is “Chrysler,” unfortunately for me.
The short answer is: no, it doesn’t really matter, that’s why ‘96 Tacomas are still fetching over $6k, and so on.

ROAD TRIP!
![]() 08/12/2016 at 12:17 |

Yeah! What do we take: the world’s hottest coupe with no A/C, an older A4 with the 1.8T, or a 36 year old pickup?
![]() 08/12/2016 at 12:18 |
|
Shit the pick up would probably be the best best. Because according to the map I just looked at it’s downhill all the way to CA.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 12:21 |

The pickup is actually excellent for long distance driving. Fuel economy stinks but whatever.

Lets hope it doesn’t rain.

It’s a feature, not a flaw!
![]() 08/12/2016 at 13:11 |

That’s interesting. I feel like a few years ago they were completely reasonable.

My wagon is auto as well. They did sell them in manual, but only a couple hundred were sold with it in the US. Because nobody that wants a manual is buying a $75,000 station wagon.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 15:24 |

Nope, no they do not. And, frankly, if I could afford a $75k station wagon, I probably wouldn’t want a manual either.
